I’d always wanted to make Jewellery and when I moved to Dubai with my husband in 2006 this gave me the opportunity I needed.   I found a wealth of materials to use and  started by making pieces just for myself and for my friends, but then I kept getting requests and what was initially just a passion of mine became accessories for everyone else.

My inspiration comes mainly from the stones and silver I buy and I never know what I am going to make until I sit down and start arranging the stones.  An advantage of living in the Middle East is the close proximity to India and Asia, and when I am on my travels I am always on the hunt for more beautiful stones to use.  Part of the joy of making Jewellery is sourcing the materials and taking inspiration from their environments, finding something that would make a beautiful pendant in the most unlikely of places.  

I value the personal contact with my clients, often making them one off pieces for special occasions, with them sometimes selecting their own stones or bringing along an old piece of theirs to be remade.
